Disclosures for self-employed tutors

Our experience as an Umbrella organisation has taught us that it is very difficult for a self-employed tutor to obtain a criminal record check as it is not possible for an individual to ask 'exempted' questions of themselves in relation to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.

We have launched 'The Tutor's Umbrella' in order that we may legally facilitate this process on your behalf.

Our aim is to help you to provide reassurance to your clients, be they parents, guardians or authorities who use your services.
